Today is another blue sky day as you can see from the pix of boys up a tree. We have been seeing a lot of these lately. People figure it's because industrial production has shut down around here. I've never seen such a lack of pollution here, though we still get some grotty days.

Winter is coming to an end here. The cold wind continues to blow but it just does not have the same bite. We were happy to spend hours and hours outside though there was not much for old dad to do other than hang around and watch the kids muck about.

Also, Wanbu is back though his name is now Konbu which means driftwood in Japanese (fitting) and terrorist in Chinese which could be a contravertial name for a Tibetian dog in China.

Turns out Konbu is not a ShihTzu as previously reported but a Tibetian Terrier, a rather rare breed. Anyhow, that point is moot since he got the chop so ain't likely to continue the species. He was good fun to have around and I'm glad I saved him. He is really smart and has a cool personality. Anyway, he is fine.
