We went to shrines on New Year's Day to see if we could get good luck. Only Wesley got good luck. Lloyd found a wild pig skull, we worked making logs for mushroom growing, hiked around in the woods and generally froze in the cold weather.
We got to one hot spring, and the boys got drinking water from a roadside spring.
We all went to Japan for New Year. More a chance of escaping China than anything else. We did'nt really have enough money to go anywhere hot and beachy this year. Perhaps next year.
It was fun and nice to get some clear weather, though it was quite cold most of the time. Here are pictures and video.
