Well we are still here. It's kind of dreary and the weather is crappy, lots of pollution and little sign of autumn. Rain tonight should change the weather.
Looks like we are staying here for a while. Hiroe is talking about moving house. Probably closer to the school so we can save school bus fees.
Anyway realestate prices are soaring as a result of the stimulis but rents are collapsing because of the dearth of people who can afford to live outside the tennnaments so we can probably move into a McMansion or something.
We went to the park today but it was not the same as when the kids were little. It's like they want to do only cool stuff and can hardly be arsed to climb around on the previously facanating big dangerous rock pile.
Well, looks like were staying here for a while so I guess We better get used to it. At least with economic collapse the pollution is a ghost of it's former self.
Green shoots indeed; fertlized with massive turds of debt.
We will try to go back to Japan for new year. In Hiroe's home town they have a famous festival that dates to the 8th century. The original 8th century shrines still stand. they are amazing. Well guess it's something to look forward to. At first we were looking at going to Okinawa and her hometown but you can imagine the cost. Anyway, it will give me a chance to study mushroom farming. It's the peak harvest season.
